Do not use scrubs or harsh exfoliators.
Avoid direct sunlight and wear SPF 30–50 daily (mandatory).
Avoid swimming pools (chlorine can irritate).
Keep hydration levels high—drink plenty of water.
These are normal and should settle within 1–3 days:
Mild redness
Sensitivity or tightness
Slight dryness or flaking (depending on treatment)

Severe redness or irritation lasting more than 72 hours
Swelling or hives
